Kingston Set To Welcome The R Hotel

This October 2017, the hospitality industry welcomes into its family, the Renfrew Hotel.

Located at 2 Renfrew Road, Kingston 10, New Kingston, the R Hotel will be the ideal place for businesspeople, fitted with rooftop restaurant and bar, art gallery, banqueting facilities, underground parking as well as a gym and rooftop lap pool.

The R Hotel guests will have access to 24-hour IP and security from video surveillance coverage throughout the property, state-of-the-art high-speed internet, voice, video and teleconferencing services, an integrated messaging system, Wi-Fi access, and telephones with VoIP capabilities.

WRJ Press Member Reynaldo H. was able to get a short interview with the co-owner of this development, Joe Bogdanovich, just to get some insight on the project. His reply after being asked to give a status update on the hotel was, "The hotel is moving forward splendidly and I think it will add a new flavor to the hotel business in Kingston."

After careful discussion regarding the project, he was asked why he chose such a venture to take part in and Joe's reply to that was, "I did it for my friend and brilliant architect who is a leader in the field. I also was attracted to the fact that Kingston is severely thin with regards to hotel rooms. So it makes good business sense."

And we all know that whenever a new building is being constructed, we all wonder what it will do for us, well Joe did provide a brilliant, business-oriented reply when he was asked about the impact this hotel will have here in Kingston. He said, "I think the concept of the "extended stay" hotel is something new to the city and will attract a variety of people doing business in Kingston as well as advertising folks who come to this creative city."

This hotel will indeed be ready for October's opening as stated by Mr. Bogdanovich, and we are really excited to see it's grand opening. WRJ personnel will be on scene to witness its grand opening and to commemorate the City of Kingston as Joe Bogdanovich marks another milestone in Jamaica.
