Reggae Sumfest 2K17

Red Stripe's 25th Edition of Reggae Sumfest is on it's 3rd performing day.

The week's events kicked off on Sunday, July 16 2K17 and so far has been a blast. The performances are amazing, the vibe is kicking, liquor is everywhere, women is everywhere, and you can't have an event as this and not have a bit of gossip

For the past 1-2 weeks, it has been all heat on the event as once hot artist I-Octane has been banned from this year's show due to not wanting to close the 25th edition of the event on July 22nd, it's end date. Furthermore, controversy with Alkaline's Afterall video, and a heated war between the Sparta Camp and the Vendetta Clan. Tommy Lee Sparta and Alkaline will showcase on July 21st in a heated lyrical battle at Reggae Sumfest being held at Pier One, Montego Bay, St. James.

And now what appears to be a recent update earlier today, is that hot artist Masicka will withdraw from the show this year due to a confrontation with Law Enforcement and Aidonia and his entourage at Masicka's rehearsal today. In addition, Masicka's agreed to performing time of 2AM - 3AM, has been last minute changed to 12:30AM in which his manager, Corey Todd, disapproves and wishes to not have Masicka perform if his time cannot remain to his signed agreement.

What was suppose to be a lyrical showcase for thousands of people all over the world, seems to have become quite a intentional disagreement between artists and promoter.
Host of the yearly event, Joe Bagdonavich, has yet to release any statements regarding the Masicka & Aidonia situation as well as the time change.
