Event Review; Super Soaked: Ultimate Water/Foam Rave

As the well known, Shizzle Sherlock would say, "Yuh tink a chattingz, knockingz!" So was Super Soaked.

This event, which was held on July 15, 2K17 at the Island Breeze Plaza located at 255 Spanish Town Road, was no ordinary event. The name, "Super Soaked" had a vibe to it, a water event, popular water based attractions, and wherever there's water, there's always ladies ready to get wet and that's exactly what happened.

I was live during the setup stage and was able to meet with one of the hosts of Super Soaked, and his words to me were, "Super Soaked can't be any better." And so said, so done, it was a blast. Patrons, mostly females, started flooding the venue from 6 o'clock, finding their party spots, drinking light, socializing and just enjoying the music. Another host could be seen at the venue doing same and that is the host of Tropixx: Escape to Paradise, Shacquille T. Chambers.

The host, who's normally busy on event day, had a minute to stop and say, "affi big up mi promoter dem, couldn't do it alone." By 10 o'clock, the venue was so packed with patrons all ready to break away in enjoyment, I could barely make it inside the venue. Even in the VIP area, it was heating up. The foam pit and water truck was the main focused attractions at the event, which made the ladies go crazy. In and out they went, getting wet and foamed up to the sound of the fire blazing DJs, one that is known as "Team Fyah". Shaw Int'l was the system to be used, and mixing was 13 Gang, Team Fyah, DJ Javi, Bad Tuff and DJ Squeeze.

I was able to meet with a few females and males to get their judgement on the event, some saying, "Super Soaked shot", "Mi couldn't miss dis" others, "Di vibe nice" and so forth. During the event, there were live performances by Active Wingz with his hit, Goodie, DJ Lanz with another hit, She Nah Leggo and many more. And it was an uproar for DJ Lanz! Yet again, the DIP team turned up at this event, as well as Ultra Wet. A glimpse of Wet Rush promoters were also seen at the event and the hosts of "Hennessey New Rules" which will be held on Aug. 12th in Spanish Town, Jamaica and Rum Cupz: Pool Rave which is scheduled to be held on December 9th were also at the event.

The party lasted quite a while without losing vibe, and even after it's end, patrons didn't want to leave. In the end, Whatsupp Radio Jamaica commends the preparation, promotion, and all round hosting of the event.

Amazing job to the hosts of Super Soaked: Ultimate Water/Foam Rave! Looking forward to it again in 2K18.
