Controversy With Reggae Sumfest 2K17 || Pt. 3 Tommy Lee Sparta

As the 25th staging of the most noticed stage show in Jamaica draws near, all booked artists are gearing up to make this one as big as can be. Artists such as Alkaline, Ding Dong, Masicka, Aidonia, Dexta Daps, The Sparta Don, Tommy Lee Sparta and many more have been booked to perform live at this year's staging of Sumfest.

But, Sumfest isn't where it all began. It was noticed that Tommy Lee Sparta and Alkaline kept taking jabs at each other through their music over the past years. This all started back in 2014 close to Sumfest, when Tommy Lee, while being interviewed by OnStage TV, stated that "I may not be the youngest, but I am the baddest ting". Alkaline replied to that statement made by Tommy Lee Sparta in an interview with the statement, "bad wa?" one week before Reggae Sumfest 2K14.

Since then it has been an ongoing lyrical battle between Tommy Lee Sparta and the Vendetta Boss, Alkaline. In recent news, Tommy Lee Sparta was booked to perform at the 4th Staging of Wray & Nephew's Water Worl, held on July 2nd, 2K17 at Mas Camp. The grounds was sold out to a count of 5,000 patrons who came to see Tommy Lee rock this event.

During his performance, Tommy Lee took a live jab at Alkaline when he blasted his "diss" track titled, Kla Kam aimed at "dissing" popular artists, Mavado, Jahmiel, Demarco, Alkaline and Busy Signal back in September 2016. However, this time, it was only aimed at Alkaline. Tommy Lee Sparta also made a statement saying, "Push up u head a sumfest an see".

The video of Tommy Lee performing this song was uploaded to his InstaGram page with the caption, "I just love killing this coward @manhimself." @Manhimself is the supposed InstaGram handle that Alkaline uses and which was tagged by the Sparta Don to highlight a "call out" for Sumfest. Alkaline has yet to reply to this jab from Tommy Lee, with only two (2) weeks away from Reggae Sumfest 2K17.
