Bounty Killer's High-End Speech At Reggae Sumfest 2K17
Dancehall veteran Bounty Killer undoubtedly had one of the best performances at Reggae Sumfest 2017, held at Catherine Hall in Montego Bay Dancehall Night One.
Throughout his performance, the veteran provided commentary and the social issues affecting the county.
“They are helping the police to fight crime, but they not helping poor people,” he said before launching into his hit single "Fed Up", to the roars of fans.
Bounty Killer also called on gunmen to stop the violence whilst condemning men who subject women to domestic abuse.
“No man nuh fi ah kill over woman,” he said as he sang "Worthless Bwoy".
After his performance the man widely known as the ‘Warlord’ revealed to Nikki Z in an interview that he might wear dark glass and the black suit to look bad but he is a good person.
“I wear the dark glass and the black suit so I look bad, but I am a good person,” he said. “They gave me the image of the bounty killer, the warlord. That doesn’t sound like a nice thing so people come look for a warlord and a bounty killer,” he explained.
On the other hand, Bounty Killer, whose given name is Rodney Pryce, insists that “my heart is all fun and joy and love and care”. “I want people to know that Bounty Killer is a good man with a bad image and character. but not a bad personality. The Bounty Killer character is a bad thing. I am the best bad man,” he said.
