St. George's College Peace for Champs live devotion
A morning of sucess and excitement on Tuesday March 14,2017. Members of the Peace for Champs iniative comprising of St. George's College , Kingston College, Jamaica College, St. Hughs High, Wolmer's Boys / Girls , Covenant of Mercy "Alpha" Merl Grove High , The Queens School, Medowbrook High, Tarrant High, S.A.T.H.S etc. Engaged the school body once again to join their mission to end violence in schools as well as the bottle throwing at the National Stadium especially at this time of the year where High School Champs is active.
THE JAMAICA CONSTABULARY FORCE JCF AND THE PEACE FOR CHAMPS INIATIVE ARE ADVISING THE PUBLIC AND SCHOOLS TO DESISTS FROM THE BOTTLE THROWING AT THE EVENTS AS THEY MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS PENALTIES.
A special performance by a St. Georges College sixth form student who goes by the name "Reminis" entertained the audience as he sang the Peace For Champs 2017 song. The audience cheered his performance as he delivered his string of lyrics which was clear and well received by our new team as well , this performance can be seen on our Instagram page : @whatsuppradiojamaica and be heard in our live broadcast audio which will be on our YouTube page : WhatsuppradioJamaica.
Our news team had been given the opportunity to interview a few students who shared their view about "Peace for Champs" and what have they relaized about the overall initiative and the mission of PFC. We also interviewed P.F.C internal president O'Neil Nam who shared with us his experiences being the internal president and the expectations and plans as it relates to High School Champs for 2017.
